At Publiki our measurements and descriptions that you find on our items are as accurate as possible.
For our vintage products, we spend a lot of time in our workshop sympathetically restoring and reviving each item but, some natural wear and tear should still be expected, and usually leave these elements alone adding charisma and a narrative to the piece . All of our upholstered items are fully in accordance with UK fire regulations.
We love to talk about our furniture in greater depth, and welcome enquiries about any item you may be interested in. We are more than willing to provide additional details, which will help you decide on any piece you have in mind and if it ticks all the prerequisite boxes. We love to give sound and honest advice on all our pieces especially if we feel that it’s right and, after a brief discussion, decide if that piece is best suited to your current home environment.
Your details and personal information
We take your online security and privacy seriously, and any personal information provided to us during your transaction will not be passed on to a third party.
We do not store credit card details nor do we share customer details with any 3rd parties.
Occasionally we will be holding exclusive events, and therefore would like to send you updates/newsletters regarding these and also new pieces you might be interested in. If you would prefer not to receive these updates just let us know. We process all online payments through Sage Pay. This is an encrypted secure method of payment. We will not maintain, or record any of your information on our website or server.
Payment can be made to us in any of the following ways:
Cash on delivery/collection, Bank transfer, Cheque on delivery/collection following clearance, Creditor debit card or PayPal.
We will also allow you to reserve a piece for up to three weeks by paying a refundable15% deposit. This will enable you to capture vintage pieces that you fall in love with and permit you to spread the cost throughout those weeks.
If you change your mind that's fine you can cancel the reservation within two days of the three-week period for a full refund of your deposit. However thereafter, the deposit is non-refundable and the full balance is required before the piece can be delivered or collected.
We can only reserve a piece for a maximum of three weeks. Should the balance not be paid within this timeframe, the piece will be made available to others and marketed again through our on-line platform and via the store.
We want you to be 100% happy with your purchase and we will fully refund (or exchange if possible) any item, which is not as described or (in the unlikely event) damaged upon delivery.
Please note, it is your responsibility that your purchase will fit its intended space within your home.
If you do wish to return any item's to us and live within the designated area we are more than happy to collect and return it back to the store but, we ask that its in the same condition that you received it including the original packing materials if possible, but no delivery cost will be met by you. We regret that shipping costs are non-refundable and the customer is responsible for the cost of return shipping and insurance.
If you find a fault with any item we deliver we will offer a full refund as long as you notify us within 48 hours. After that time, unfortunately we cannot uphold any claim. With this in mind, we would advise you to thoroughly check over the item or your piece of furniture in the presence of our employee immediately upon delivery.
Items that have been personalized for you do not fall under our normal returns policy (unless damaged) but you may cancel your order within 48 hours of placement for a full refund.
For bespoke contemporary items which are made to specific dimensions, it must be understood that due to the nature of handcrafted furniture the dimensions will be approximate. These items are non-returnable (unless damaged) but you may cancel your order within 48 hours of placement fora full refund.
Your statutory rights are not affected by these terms.
PUBLIKI reserves the right to cancel, vary or suspend any contract of sale if events occur which are beyond our control including fire, floods, storms, lock-downs, riots, industrial action, or non-availability of materials or supplies.

Unless we have agreed to arrange delivery for your piece of furniture on your behalf, you will need to organise collection/delivery. We would recommend that you use a specialised furniture delivery company who are fully insured against damages.
If we have agreed to include delivery it is using one of our trusted couriers and will be accompanied by one of our deliver team. They are fully insured and take great care of our pieces, but for additional piece of mind we will see that it's delivered and installed, in pristine condition and to your satisfaction. Each delivery is direct and not part of a route therefore the time and date that is agreed is the day when the delivery will arrive (barring any unforeseen traffic complications). Assistance with unloading at the delivery address will never be required.
Our staff and couriers work daytimes, evenings and weekends so not to disturb your general lifestyle. We will give you a delivery time on the agreed date. If these delivery terms do not suit we are more than happy to adjust slightly, and you are welcome to make your own arrangements for delivery of any piece.
Some of our pieces may not show the dimensions therefore we are always happy to visit the premises when convenient to double-check and take additional measurements.
Because vintage or mid-century frames are so well constructed, they are often very heavy – heavier than modern pieces of furniture. We will assist and ensure you are happy that your piece in the right position, therefore taking away any shunting or damage within your home.
Our pieces should never be lifted by their arms, draws or at any weak points but only from underneath.
For UK shipping costs please contact us with your postcode for a quote to your area, all local deliveries can be dispatched within 48 hours, UK deliveries can be expected to take place within 3 weeks of your order by one of our specialist furniture couriers, but can often be made much sooner.
